Hesed House is a ministry to our homeless brothers and sisters in the Aurora area. We serve on the first Monday of every month extending kindness and food to those who need a "hand up". Sign up to help by providing food donations as we feed dinner to about 125 people on the first Monday of each month. We also need people to cook, serve, clean up and work in various areas of the shelter during our time Monday night to Tuesday morning.
Please contact Cindy Beebe at 630.579.6849 if you are able to volunteer or donate supplies.

Crunchy Oven-Baked Chicken
Adapted from "Come to the Table" - Submitted by Emily Field
- 2 cups Ritz cracker crumbs (you can substitute other crackers)
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped, fresh parsley (or 1 Tablespoon dried)
- 1 clove garlic minced (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 15 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 cup melted margarine
Combine cracker crumbs, parmesan, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper. Dip chicken in margarine and coat in crumb mixture. Place in shallow baking pans, cover with leftover butter. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Do not turn chicken during baking.
For transport to Hesed House, please either place in covered aluminum baking pans or wrap chicken in several layers of heavy duty aluminum foil. Mark with "Hesed House" and leave in fridge at church. Thank you!!
