    The goal at Wheatland Salem is to create a positive Christian environment in which learning is fun and rewarding and each child is seen as a unique and capable individual. The kindergarten curriculum has been carefully planned using the Illinois Early Learning Standards as a benchmark to include developmentally appropriate learning experiences in language, math, science, social science, physical development, fine arts and social/emotional development.

    Class Schedule & Fees for 2012-2013

    The kindergarten program for 2012-2013 will be an Extended Day scheduled from 9am – 2pm, Monday through Friday. The tuition is $550 per month, with an additional $2.40 per day for the lunches on our attendance days.

    Class Size and Placement

    Kindergarten classroom will be maintained at a maximum enrollment of 15 students. We follow the State of Illinois School Code of chronological age placement of children. Therefore, kindergarten students must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st of the enrolled school year.
