Treasure Bears Team Member
Treasure Bears provide an opportunity for people who are in the end stage of grieving to make a memorial teddy bear out of clothing that belonged to their loved one. Volunteers and participants have a great time, laugh a lot, give hugs and marvel at what God does through us. Sewing and non-sewing experience welcome. There is an orientation for new volunteers which last about an hour. Occurs 2 times a year; 2 Saturdays each, from 9:00am-1:00pm. Time commitment is flexible.
