Wheatland Salem Church is more than a group of people who meet together for weekly worship; we are a church family. And when someone in the family is going through a difficult time, we want to be there to help.

We believe we have been called to “watch over one another in love”—it’s part of who we are and what we do.

Being involved in a small group helps each of us stay connected and cared for by those that know us personally. However, there are some situations that need specific kinds of care that a small group is not equipped to provide.

For those situations WSC has caring, trained individuals who are responsible for maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of those they care for, while being accountable to both lay leaders and church staff for providing quality Christian care.

We also realize there are a growing number of young people who could benefit from a listening ear, as well. Next Generation Care ministry provides an opportunity for children, teens and young adults to have someone who will come alongside and share in their concerns, hopes and dreams. Our mission is to help those who are struggling get connected to Christ’s grace and truth in the rough places of life’s challenges.
