Love Others—Life In Community
Wheatland Salem Church promotes life in community through small groups to provide its people four basic opportunities: to connect with one another, to grow as Christ-followers, to pray and care for one another, and to serve others outside the group. The people of Wheatland Salem Church have a broad spectrum of groups from which to select. For example:
- Small Groups’ focus is on spending time connecting, growing, caring and serving together.
- Classes tend to have a greater emphasis on growing.
- Other groups with specific tasks or purposes are also communities and typically have a different mix of the functions, yet are still ways we live in community.
